Entrepreneur, fashion designer and Dancing With The Stars contestant Nadia Bartel opened her boutique, Henne, in Greville St Prahan, back in 2022. Founded with her sister Michelle Ring and friend Laura Broque, the business has quickly become a favourite on the local fashion scene, with a reputation for contemporary style, effortless wearability and sustainability.
But how does Nadia spend her Melbourne weekend? Nicky Buckley is here to find out!
A good portion of the day spent in the shop, but when Nadia needs to recharge the batteries, she heads to Fluidform Pilates in Malvern. The classes are supportive and encouraging, and the teachers are really hands on to help students exercise with the right form and movement. It’s the perfect preparation for Dancing with the Stars!
If she’s feeling hungry, Nadia will drop into her lovely local wine bar Alberts, just off High St Armadale. With dishes like Scallop and Ginger toast, grilled calamari with harissa and capers, and their number one seller rigatoni with vodka sauce and smoked ricotta, it’s a delicious way to relax with a glass of one of their many wines.
