Over 47 million people have been through the Marvel Stadium gates to see AFL, cricket, concerts and so much more. With 5 Tenant AFL Clubs, Carlton, Western Bulldogs, Essendon, North Melbourne and St Kilda sees 1.4M fans enter the Stadium throughout the Season. During the Summer, Marvel Stadium welcomes the Big Bash League, with Melbourne Renegades calling Marvel Stadium home.
First there’s food. The Marvel Stadium surrounds has a whole heap of restaurants and bars that are keeping the precinct pumping 365 days a year, not just when there’s an event. And inside the stadium, the food outlets have kicked up a notch to include Pronto Gradi, Gami Chicken, Hunky Dory and 8-Bit burgers to name just a few. That’s not to mention new sit down restaurants Friends With Fire and Amphora.
The stadium functions centre has also been reworked, with two new rooms featuring floor to ceiling windows, with views of the CBD on one side and the field of play on the other. There’s also a sparkling new champagne bar where you can sip away and watch the play.
Combine that with enhancements to the roof, a new thematic lighting system and boosted sports lighting, and you’ve got a whole new Marvel Stadium experience.
