Rohan is showing his favorite Melbourne spots in the glamorous Collins Street precinct. The Paris End of Collins Street, is an iconic Melbourne shopping precinct, where the streets are lined with designer boutiques, chic cafes, and stylish bars. It’s been know as the ‘Paris End’ since the 1950s due to its numerous heritage buildings, old street trees, high-end shopping boutiques, and as the location for the first footpath cafes in the city.
First up is The Block Arcade, a cherished gem since 1892. With its stunning glass canopy and mosaic floors, it’s must-see.
Next, we head to Le Petit Chateau, nestled in the heart of The Block Arcade, this place whisks you away to a charming French corner with its delightful crêpes, made fresh before your eyes every day.
Finally, Rohan heads to Bar Margaux, a vibrant French bistro with a New York twist. Behind a simple “MGX” door, enjoy French classics like steak tartare and escargot. They also offer a pre-theatre dinner menu and classic cocktails so it’s a classy spot for pre or post show.
