The grand 140-seater sits in the Cathedral Room inside the former Melbourne Stock Exchange – an opulent heritage space featuring stained glass windows, Gothic vaulted ceilings, limestone walls and solid granite columns.
The building had been closed to the public for 20 years and the team at the Nomad Group completed the restoration in consultation with Heritage Victoria using heritage architects.
Reine is the restaurant housed in the cathedral room serving up their take on French fare, including small bites, entrées & wood fired meats, there is also a raw seafood bar, shucking oysters to order.
